Privacy & Terms

Privacy Policy
Rebwand is run by one person, and this policy is written the same way everything else here is — plainly, and without hiding anything in the middle of a long paragraph.
What We Collect
Through the enquiry form and the project start form on this site, we collect the details you give us: your name, your business name, your email address and phone number, and whatever you tell us about your business and what you need.
If you go on to become a client, we also handle the content you send us to build with — your logo, photos, price lists, opening hours and copy.
We don't ask for anything we don't need to quote or do the work. We never ask for payment card details through this website.
Why We Collect It
To reply to you, prepare a quote, deliver the work you've engaged us for, and keep proper business records. That's the whole list. We don't sell your information and we don't share it for anyone else's marketing.
How Your Enquiry Reaches Us
Form submissions on this site are delivered by Web3Forms, a third-party form service, and arrive in our email inbox. Your message passes through their systems, which may be located outside Australia. We use them to deliver the message and nothing else.
That applies to the two real forms — the enquiry form and the project start form. The forms inside the demonstration sites are deliberately inert: they show a success message but transmit nothing, to anyone. Nothing you type into a demo is sent or stored.
Where We Work From
Rebwand is an Australian business with an Australian ABN, serving Australian clients. The work is done remotely, and that means your information may be accessed from outside Australia. We think you should know that rather than find it in a footnote.
Embedded Content and Images
Some pages — mainly the demonstration sites — load content from other companies' servers. When that happens, those companies receive a request from your browser including your IP address, and they handle it under their own privacy policies rather than ours. We don't send them anything about you beyond what any web request carries.
- Google Fonts — typefaces, on every page.
- Google Maps — the embedded location maps on the demonstration sites.
- Unsplash — most of the photography on the demonstration sites.
- Pexels — one background video, on the carpentry demonstration site only.
None of these are used to track you across sites by us, and none of them are on the pages where you'd actually give us information. If you'd rather not load them at all, your browser's content-blocking settings will stop them.
Analytics
We don't run Google Analytics or any other visitor tracking on this site. We don't build a profile of you, and there's no advertising pixel here.
Cookies
We set no cookies of our own — none for advertising, none for tracking, none for analytics. There is no cookie banner here because there is nothing to consent to on our side.
The embedded content listed above is a different matter. Google Maps in particular, and potentially the video player, may set their own cookies in your browser when a demonstration page loads them. We don't control those and we don't read them. Blocking third-party cookies in your browser will stop them without breaking anything you came here for.
How Long We Keep It
Enquiries that don't turn into work are kept while they're still useful and then deleted. Client records — agreements, invoices and correspondence — are kept for at least five years, which is what Australian tax record-keeping requires.
Keeping It Secure
Client credentials are held in an encrypted password manager, not in a browser or a notes file. Access is protected by multi-factor authentication. We hold as little as possible for as long as necessary, which is the most effective protection there is.
If You're a Client
During a build we may hold access to your domain, hosting and social accounts. At handover those accounts are yours, and we remove our stored copies unless you've asked us in writing to keep access for ongoing small updates. Your Client Agreement covers this in more detail.
Seeing or Correcting Your Information
Ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we'll deal with it promptly. If you're not satisfied with how we've handled it, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Website Terms of Use
These terms cover your use of this website. If you engage us for work, your Client Agreement governs that work and takes precedence over anything here.
The Information Here
Prices, timeframes and inclusions on this site are current at the date shown above and are the ones we'll honour. If anything on this page and your signed Client Agreement disagree, the agreement applies.
The Demonstration Sites
The example sites linked from this website are demonstrations built to show what the work looks like. The businesses shown in them are fictional — the names, addresses, phone numbers and reviews are not real, and they are not past clients. They exist to show craft, not to claim a track record.
Making an Enquiry
Sending an enquiry or completing the start form doesn't create a contract or reserve a place in the schedule. Work begins when an agreement is accepted and a deposit is received.
What We Don't Promise
We don't guarantee specific business outcomes — search rankings, traffic, follower growth, enquiries or revenue. We build the site properly. What the market does with it isn't something anyone can honestly guarantee, and you should be wary of anyone who does.
Content on This Site
The text, design, template system and images on this site belong to Rebwand. The underlying template system stays ours — clients receive a licence to use it as their own website, which is set out in the Client Agreement.
Links to Other Sites
Where we link out, it's because we think it's useful. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Your Rights
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
